This event is for the Kelly Shires Foundation. This Canadian Foundation offers financial assistance to those recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer.. It is most well known for their annual ”Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Snow Run”( a women’s snowmobile ride to fundraiser). In the last year they have helped over 500 breast cancer patients!
The event will consist of a team of four riders who will attempt to beat the Guinness World record for “Snowmobile greatest distance in 24 hours, Team”.
Our tentative target date is February 20, 2018. The attempt will be made on a measured track to be set on a lake north of Orillia; our first choice is in the middle of Lake Muskoka. The ice, track, weather conditions and forecasts will all influence the actual date and location.
The team riders have a cumulative snowmobiling experience of over 300,000 kms (186,000 miles) and 100 years!

24 Hour Snowmobile Team - Guinness World Record Attempt in Support of the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation
On February 20, 2018 (weather permitting), a team of avid snowmobiler's will attempt to beat the current Guinness World Record of most km's travelled within 24 hours while raising fund for the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation.
