It helps you with your physical activities, maintain a healthy weight, and reduce your risk of getting a contagious disease. It helps your heart stronger, finer muscles, sturdy bones and a better social life. Also gives us more chance of living longer, more energy, keeping the medical cost down and gives us confidence. Moreover, it helps our mental health better. Therefore, being healthy is really important.
Canada's Food Guide is one way where we can look for the servings of food, what type of food we should eat everyday, and it helps us eat healthy. It is a plan to help children, teens and adults make healthy food choices. Other than that, it helps us know how much servings of vegetables and fruits, grain products, milk and meat we need in a day. On the right, it shows a few examples of foods in each categories.
