Review : Dead & CO. Written by : Amanda Hirsch

Have you ever wanted it to feel like you are floating? That is how attending a dead & co concert feels. The environment is the most calming thing, as everyone treats anyone like family. The connections formed at this concert were so friendly and considerate. Everyone locked arms and sang some songs. This was the closest feeling to normal that I have felt in a long time. Everyone was unified, no judgment occurred.

The bright lights caused lots of feelings, as we were always addressed to the stage. The camera filming the stage caught my attention, as it was always pointed to the singer at that moment. The people here never judged anything, and it was the most sensational time.

The days as a poor day for American history, September 11th. But, it was also Mickey, the lead singer and guitarist, had been turning 78 this day. We all got to sing happy birthday to Mickey, and it was a profoundly emotional experience.

On the drive, we saw hundreds of vendors, selling all things themed grateful. That is how I felt the whole time, grateful. Everyone was one big family, life had temporarily become normal.
