Hello Falcon Families!
I hope that each of you has had a wonderful weekend!
Fall 2020 & Reopening
The Governor has asked districts to create three plans based on the MI Safe Schools: Michigan's 2020-21 Return to School Roadmap for phases 1-3, 4, 5, and 6. Based on these phases, we are planning various scenarios. The survey link below will take you to questions about your preferences related to our current planning. For these questions, please use the following explanations to help you answer the questions:
Phases 1-3 = complete online learning for all JPEC students using our own learning platform, our curriculum resources/supplemental resources, and taught by our staff
Phase 4 - Students are able to be in the school building with required, strongly recommended, and recommended guidelines for safety, instruction, and operations. This phase would include a hybrid model where there is a balance of coming to school 2 days/week and working home virtually 2 days/week
Phase 5 - Students are able to be in the school building with strongly recommended and recommended guidelines for safety, instruction, and operations. This phase would include students face to face daily 5 days a week.
Phase 6 - Students are able to be in the school building with no restrictions
Ending the 2019-2020 Academic Year
I want to encourage our students who continue to strive to demonstrate mastery in their courses, hang in there and keep working! Keep connecting with your teachers, developing your skills, and pushing for the finish line! Remember that you can continue working throughout July to earning credit for your winter term courses.
I will continue to update our community regularly as we receive additional information, as we develop greater details with our plan, and as we approach the start of the 2020-2021 academic year. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions - firstname.lastname@example.org.
