Freshmen Convocation ceremony at Texas A&M-Kingsville.

On August 31 2016, 1,200 freshmen attended Convocation and were welcomed by David Barrera, president of Student Government. The keynote speaker for the event was Frank Franklin, an alumnus and disc jockey at K99 in Corpus Christi. You can check out the video here from the event!

Taco Tuesday on campus!

Taco Tuesday was in full effect on campus! Serving up Chorizo, Bacon and Egg, and Potato and Egg tacos, Aramark manager Jeffrey McKinley said they were trying to get more variety on campus. So far the response has been good and they are looking to include some Indian dishes as well. This is the first time they're trying this on campus.

Beyond Bollywood exhibit at the John E. Conner Museum!

The newest exhibit at the John E. Conner Museum at Texas A&M University-Kingsville provides insight into that contribution. Beyond Bollywood: Indian Americans Shape the Nation will be on display at the Conner Museum through Saturday, Oct. 8.
