Tammy says, "As a student returning to school later in life, I find distance learning to be the most appealing option. I'm able to work within my own time frame, while still adhering to deadlines and due dates. I have three small children at home, so this type of learning environment is ideal for me. Distance learning has also enabled me to graduate sooner. Because online courses offer me flexibility in schedule, I can take on a full course load with out having to compromise my work or family schedule as much. Taking two winter session courses really helped me to move along towards graduation. This past winter, I was lucky to be in one of Dr. Huebner's Women's Studies online courses. Though it had nothing to do with my major as a nurse, it actually turned out to be my favorite class at WCU."

How- To Videos

Distance Education started a How-To Video Series this Spring 2018 semester. Twice a month a video will be released via social media about how to use a tool that is used in online learning.
