MEET THE TEAM

Mr. Ruck is a graduate and fan of the University of Cincinnati. He has been teaching in the Milford School District the past eleven years. This is his eight year teaching Ancient World History here at MJHS. He lives with his wife and two sons in Maineville, Ohio. In his spare time he enjoys traveling to new places and experiencing new things with his family. This will be a busy year because his family is in the process of moving to a new home. Don't worry, he is staying right here at MJHS. He is excited and ready to get to know each of you.
Miss Bullis is in her 21st year teaching and 16th year at Milford. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees and has continued her studies at The University of Cincinnati, University of Colorado, University of Dayton, Wright State, and Walsh University. Downtime (when she has it) includes spending time with her twin niece and nephew and watching them participate in baseball, volleyball, soccer and basketball (they are also in the 7th grade this year). She is a huge Cincinnati Reds and Tennessee Volunteers fan. Her favorite movie is "Star Wars"-which you will notice just a bit in Rm. 17. But, above all she looks most forward to spending time at the "Happiest Place on Earth" and the beach during summer break.
It is hard to believe that I am getting ready to start my 21st year of teaching. All but one have been at Milford Junior High. I am a proud Milford Schools alumni (Go Eagles) I attended Ohio University and earned a Masters in Education. I am married to my husband, Paul (also a Milford graduate) and we have three children. Kate is going to be a sophomore at Milford High School, Ben is going to be a 8th grader at MJHS, and Sarah is in fourth grade. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling especially to the beach and watching my kids play sports. I love the Bengals too. I am looking forward to a great year!
Mrs. Heileman is a Milford alumna from the class of 2006. From there, she went to Ohio University where she pursued a degree in Integrated Language Arts and a minor in theater, and she just completed her Master's at Miami University this past summer. Some of her passions include Ohio State football, scary movies, dark-chocolate covered raisins, and soccer. This is her third year at the junior high and she is extremely excited to meet all you crazy fools!
Mrs. Bernens grew up in Cincinnati, OH and graduated from Sycamore High school. After High School Mrs. Bernens attended The Ohio State University where she discovered her love for teaching science. She started teaching in Colorado and is happy to be back in her home town! Mrs. Bernens loves to be outdoors and experience science first hand. She can't wait to meet and learn from all of the incoming Flyer scientists!
