It's a good size at 1060 square feet (89.6 square meters), with 2 bedrooms (on separate sides of the condo), 2 Baths (1 en suite in master & 1 guest), open plan living room - dining room - kitchen - which is great for entertaining. It has high quality engineered hardwood floors in the bedrooms & living/dining room and ceramic tile in entryway, kitchen & bathrooms (heated tile floor in master bath). The closets have been equipped with customized organizers. The second bedroom is fitted with a combination Murphy bed, desk and bookshelf.

The purchase includes: LG 4 door fridge/freezer, Bosch dishwasher, full size LG front loading washer & dryer, LG microwave & Samsung range. Almost all light fixtures are LED for quality and environmental reasons. Our second bedroom is fitted with a combination Murphy bed, desk and bookshelf that is included.

The heating is provided by electric baseboard units and central air conditioning keeps it cool in the summer. No need to park on the street as the unit includes a single parking space in the secure underground garage as well as a spot to hook/store your bike (and an area to wash your car is provided on the lower garage level). There is easy access by elevators. Security is assured by helpful 24/7 building staff, who also receive packages, and a two level electronic access control. Also included is a private storage locker in a secure room located off the garage.

The area and its lifestyle

The condo is close to waterfront parks, bicycle paths and Bixi bike stations. There are bus stops just outside. It is across the street from the Lachine Canal & the Old Port linear park. It's a 10 minute walk to the Victoria Square Metro Station, a 5 minute drive to Costco and near several delis, public markets, depanneurs, fine food shops, boutiques, restaurants, museums, hospitals, etc. There is always something going on year-round with festivals (Just For Laughs, Jazz Festival), home of the Cirque du Soleil (every 2 years - right down the street) & many other amenities a short walk away providing for a daily active, gastronomic & cultural lifestyle. Walkscore says that 1 McGill Street is a walker's paradise with a Walk Score of 98 out of 100 and a biker's Paradise of 96, flat as a pancake and excellent bike lanes.
