Early Life

George was born a slave. Of course he didn't know it at the time and he didn't know he lived near diamond, Missouri, or that being born in 1864 put him in the middle of a civil war. But George Washington birth day is 1868. And the neighbors were glad to have George nearby. They called him ''the little plant doctor.'' George was born in Diamond Missouri Moses carver's diamond grove farm. but George is not a slave.

George was the only black person in his school people was treating him different because he was black.
