New Bus Service Provider Starting in 2019-20
Muskego-Norway Schools is pleased to announce that Dairyland Buses, Inc. has been chosen to provide transportation services for the district starting in August 2019. Dairyland is still in the process of securing a terminal in Muskego, as well as hiring staff. Once operations are finalized and student routes become available, parents will be notified directly. Please see the message below from our Dairyland team:
Dairyland is proud to be a local school bus provider for Wisconsin communities across the state for over 45 years, and we are looking forward to serving the transportation needs of the Muskego-Norway School District Community in the years ahead. Our local leadership brings not only dedicated school bus experience, but also specific knowledge of the area, partnered with a working relationship with district officials and dedicated drivers to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of your school children.
As we work to integrate our team with the community, safety is our top priority. We also have several initiatives planned for our first year, including open and transparent communications with the district and community, routing integration to a new software platform, introduction of a fleet of all new buses equipped with GPS and camera systems, as well as enhanced training for drivers. Finally, we will bring a fresh perspective on transportation as the district’s new transportation partner.
As we begin to gear up for school start up in the fall, please do not hesitate to contact us for any questions you may have. Please contact us directly at muskegoquestions@ridesta.com.
From our regional management team as well as our local management team and transportation staff, we look forward to becoming part of the district and are eager to serve the community.
Master Planning 2.0 - Community Survey Results
One of the strategic plan goals for the Spring 2018 school year was to update the Facilities Master Plan. A survey was developed to provide the opportunity for our community to give input on prioritizing various facility projects. We are thankful for the over 2,200 participants who took the time to provide input. The results of the survey are HERE. The next steps are to work with the Board to create a long-range plan of prioritized projects with potential funding sources.
