A huge well done to the children who went to Braeside this week. During the three days we saw big smiles, teamwork and positive attitudes and thank you to the teachers who accompanied the children on the trip. School Nurse Drop in
The school nurse will be available for a drop in session on Wednesday 28th November from 8.45am. If you have any questions that you would like to ask or are looking for advice then you are more than welcome to come along. Appointments will be 1:1 although there is no need to book ahead.
Flu Vaccination - Last Week to Register
Children in years R to 5 will be having a nasal flu vaccination in school on Tuesday 4th December.
In order to provide electronic consent for your child’s Flu vaccination, please access the consent portal via the following link completing one consent form for each child.
Please can you complete the online form as soon as possible as the link closes 5 working days prior to the session in school on 4th December.
This link is secure and unique to the school. Full details and information to assist you in completing the consent is available on the website including full FAQ’s, patient information and contact details, should you wish to speak to a nurse regarding the nasal vaccination.
Foxes' Class
Foxes' class had an challenging morning at Sheldon School on Thursday. As part of the Design & Technology curriculum the children took part in a Resistant Materials lesson. They made wooden racing cars, learning lots of new skills in the process.

On Thursday evening our netball teams were in action in the Sports Dome. They played some fantastic netball.

Otters' Class

Lost Property
We have a large amount of unnamed lost property, Coats, bags, jumpers, lunchboxes etc. If you have lost anything please come along to the school hall on Wednesday 28th November, where all of the lost property on display. Any leftover clothing will be disposed of.
Non Uniform Day
On Friday 30th November the children are invited to come into school in their normal clothes (non uniform), in return they can bring in a donation of an item for the Christmas Fair Tombola.
FOMPS
Christmas Fair Reminders:
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: On Friday, 30th November, children are allowed to wear own clothes if they bring in a Christmas item to raffle off at the Christmas Fair Tombola.
Due to the Braeside trip, the Chocombola date has been extended until Monday 26th November. Please hand in your chocolate donations to your class teachers.
We need your new and gently used teddies for the Teddy Tombola. Please bring these in to reception by Monday, 3rd December. We promise to find good homes for them and all money raised goes to improve the school.
The Christmas Fair will be Friday, 7th December 5:30-7:30. Come hungry! Fish and chips will be on sale as well as lots of tasty cakes, goodies and sweets for dessert. Enjoy a drink at the bar and celebrate with family and friends. The entrance this year will be from the KS2 playground.

Christmas Lunch
Bookings can now be made on Parent Pay for the school Christmas Lunch, which will take place on Tuesday 18th December. Please can all bookings be made by Monday 10th December.
Lions Club - Santa Float
The Lions Club - Santa float will be touring Chippenham again this year. They will be on Monkton Park on Monday 10th December from 5.30pm. A map of the Monkton Park route and details of the other days can be found here.
