January 24 PD Sessoins Personalized Learning Workshops and PLC/Committee

Back by popular demand! As a follow up to January 9th teacher-led PD sessions, we'll be doing a second offering on Tuesday, January 24. This time around, we'll be offering the following 5 sessions:

1. Go from your rubric to a Google Form that students complete and then to a Google Sheet that does all the math and straight into Gradebook. Liz Every D205
Foster student agency, reflection and student to student feedback using Flipgrid and Padlet. Elena Cortes C208
Transitioning to standards-based grading: helping students be independent learners. Ideas to increase self-reflection and accountability in the classroom. Meghan and Ashley B102
If you’re looking for an exciting in-class, multi-player review game, you have to try Quizlet Live. You can turn any study set that has at least 12 terms into a LIVE GAME. This study set can be used to review, assess, practice, etc. Quizlet Live randomly creates teams of 3-4 students and the teams must work together to find the correct answer. Zennhya D101

6. PLC and Committee Work - Leaders of the various PLC and Committee's will reach out to you if you will be using this time to meet. If not, feel free to join on of the five sessions above.
