Making our Message Resonate Liam Bedard

Dear Robert,

How can we make the NDP’s message resonate with Canadians? I believe the successful applicant for Writer and Digital Content Strategist must answer that question.

I submit that we can’t survive without stirring the soul. Our viability as a movement depends on weaving our purpose and principles into a compelling narrative.

We need to tell stories better.

If we don't, our emails will remain unopened in the junk boxes of Canadians.

By synthesizing storytelling with policy-making, by fusing progressive politics with the power of film, web, and graphic design, we can be national leaders in digital communications and we can do it on a budget.

But having good content isn't enough. You need someone who knows how to harness the power of social media to make sure our message reaches the right people.

That's where I come in.

With graphic design, video editing, animation, coding, and extensive social media and web marketing experience, I have the right combination of tools for the job.

I come equipped not only with a pen, but with a brush and a sense of where to place the canvas.

I hope that my résumé conveys to your satisfaction my relevant work experience, political campaign experience, and knowledge of the NDP.
