At the Community Foundation, we work side by side with people like you who care about Lancaster County. Together, we turn your ideas into action, and your investments into legacy. With an eye on today and tomorrow, we steward gifts to create equitable, enduring impact across our community for generations.

People drive Lancaster County forward, and they have since the beginning. At the Community Foundation, our work is to embolden people, to connect what drives them with ways to achieve lasting change for Lancaster County. Whether it's working to champion more than 50 community leaders through our Baldwin Leadership Program, connecting people with their passions through Forever Lancaster, supporting outlets for creative expression in places like the Fulton Theatre and beyond, the Community Foundation is committed to what makes Lancaster County extraordinary: its people.

Whether we call them "ideas" or not, we all have thoughts about what can make our community more extraordinary. At the Community Foundation, we want to hear your voice and your ideas for ways to move Lancaster County forward. Together, we've emboldened ideas that have changed the way Lancaster County thinks about innovation: together we've inspired more than $31 million in donations from the Extraordinary Give, seeded more than 30 businesses through the Great Social Enterprise Pitch, and granted more than 12 million dollars to support projects in Lancaster County in 2017 alone.

We've accomplished a lot together. But we're only scratching the surface of what our community can create when we all work together. Like you, we've been considering big questions and what they mean for Lancaster County.

What we're working on:

How do we make the Lancaster community extraordinary for all residents?
How do we create a community you want to see: for today, tomorrow, and FOREVER?
How do we dream FEARLESSLY?
