60x25cm, Acrylic on Wood

I took this photo attempting to initiate the composition of one of Malcom T. Liepke's painting. My friend was lying on the couch in the library trying to sleep and I moved her hands around and took the photo. Her immediate compliance is a metaphor on how people to the will of others without actually questioning their intentions. The original model was painted nude. However, due to our upbringing and social stigmas, the model now has to be fully clothed to fit our norms in the society.
