Vacaso Voyages is always seeking new challenges and ideas, to bring innovation and excellence in all of our activities and in travel industry. That’s why we gathered an Advisory Board composed by people with great experience, from different professional backgrounds.

The Vacaso Voyages Board of Advisors develops policies and operational strategies to ensure the accomplishment of the Initiative’s objectives and goals.

At Vacaso Voyages, we believe that collaboration and diversity galvanize innovation. Accordingly our Advisory Board comprises senior professionals from every sphere of activity related to our mission.

Our Advisory Board supports us in implementing our strategic plan and helps us stretch our thinking. Together, we identify trends and find new ways to create meaningful change and bring opportunity to a growing number of people here and around the world.

Advisory Board Members

Mr Pramod Sharma - G.M Rajasthan Tourism (Palace On Wheels)

Pramod Sharma is a graduate from Delhi University, he has done hotel management diploma from Pusa, New Delhi and also French language diploma. He studied tourism management from IITTM and studied several other tourism related studies during his 33 years of service in Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation since 1981 to 2016 as a General Manager. He mainly marketed The Palace on Wheels and The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels during his entire career. He has travelled worldwide during this period and has attended several travel marts abroad.

Ms Bimla Gaur - Educationist

Ms Bimla Gour is a well-known educationist. She has spent a long time working with highly prestigious institutions in India and abroad, such as Kodaikanal International School in Tamil nadu and University of Virginia and Emory University, Atlanta in the USA. She has also directed Study Abroad Programmes for US universities in Rajasthan, India, where students learnt Indian languages and cultures.

She is a great promoter of outdoor education. She believes that class room learning in the present times is not enough and students should be exposed to outdoors to explore environment, history, and cultures. Her focus has been on creativity, action and social service so that the students go out and understand the real world. She strongly believes that traveling is a great tool of learning by which students can bring the desired change in the world to make it a better place.

Mr Gun Nidhi - G.M Rajasthan Tourism (Marketing)

He is an ardent tourism professional having more than 44 years of experience from being a hotel trainee to a travel trade sector to public corporation as well as to a private sector and now he is a consultant. He is an avid traveler, exploring new destinations, studying the potential and designing marketing strategies for potential market.

Retired as General Manager, in the field of marketing from Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and now spends his leisure time in consulting upcoming tourism and hospitality industry’s start ups. His passion is to be amongst children and give them advice to be the best students of tourism industry. Deep study has been done by him on Rural Tourism Promotion in Rajasthan and he successfully organised Pushkar Fair Tourist Village – a unique experience of tent city housing thousands of tourists from all over the globe. Based in Jaipur, he extends his guidance to Vacaso Voyages Pvt. Ltd.

He has an international exposure to important tourism mart & expos. He is a member of tourism and wildlife society of India and he has been organising the bird fair at Mansagar lake in Jaipur for the past 20 years which is the second oldest bird fair in world. He is the author of famous books- ‘’Pushkar Fair’’ and ‘’Fairs and Festivals of Rajasthan’’.

Mr Amit Sharma - Director (L&D) at PwC India

Amit Sharma is a hotel management graduate with a career spanning two decades. Amit has gained rich experience while working with hotels, travel companies and airlines. Amit has worked with professional services firms such as Ernst & Young in India and USA. He is currently working with PwC as Director-Learning and development. In his present role, he is involved in training and developing young leaders for emerging markets.

Mr. Anand Shankar Mishra - Co -Founder and President (TRAIN MAESTROS)

Mr. Anand S Mishra’s career is enriched with a background in the Niche, Heritage and train tourism industry spanning over two decades. His expertise lies in various marketing means to develop business in high and niche products in tourism including newer themes and programs to add versatility in conventional tourism. He has also been playing a significant role in the development of outbound tourism by understanding a greater need for various people who are looking forward to new and exciting holidays with a value for money. Mr. Mishra has travelled extensively around the world and consequently, he comprehends the needs of the foreign tourists in a superior way over 28 years of journey in this industry. He has excelled in promoting Heritage and Rai Tourism and branding this at all levels with a niche to it internationally. He has been also known as promoting every category of trains from meter gauge to broad gauge and from Tourist trains to Luxury trains with huge reputation.

Represented companies at both personal and official level with great reputation in the industry by actively participating in several Federations, Chamber of Commerce and Travel Tourism Associations, State Corporations and Ministry of Tourism for overall development of tourism at both National and International fronts. Worked very closely with Rajasthan Tourism for the promotion of their luxury trains and participated in foreign marketing and Road shows internationally as a foreign marketing expert.

Ms Madhu Sharma - Indian Railways

Madhu Sharma has a very vast knowledge and experience with the working of tourism in Indian Railways since 1978. She has travelled throughout the world in FITs as well as in groups. Presently, she is a freelance traveler and regularly travels with ‘’Senior citizen’’ groups in India and abroad.

The Advisory Board is helping us in defining vision and strategy for the years to come, by positioning us to anticipate and ride the change.
