Adobe Creative Cloud is available to all University of Illinois faculty and staff for FREE.

On October 11th, trained staff will be available at the following locations from 11am - 4pm to help you get started.

  • Technology Services Help Desk at the Digital Computer Lab
  • IDEA Lab at the Grainger Library
  • ATLAS computer lab in room G8A in the basement of the Foreign Language Building
  • Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning in Armory room 172

In addition to these drop-in locations, our Adobe campus representative will provide 30 minute workshops throughout the day. No need to register, just stop by one of these sessions at the scheduled time on October 11th.

  • 12:00pm - The Media Commons at the Undergraduate Library
  • 1:00pm - ATLAS Computer Lab at the Foreign Language Building
  • 2:00pm - CITL Innovation Studio at the Armory

For those who want try out the Adobe Creative Cloud apps, we're hosting a 90 minute drop-in training session at CITL's Innovation Studio in Armory Room 172. Join us between 2:30-4pm to learn more about Premiere Rush, Adobe's latest mobile video editing app, or take a look at what you, and your students can create for free using Adobe Spark.

What is Creative Cloud?

Faculty and Staff can register for access to Creative Cloud through the Webstore. Follow the three steps below to get started today!

Step One: Login to request the activation of an Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise ID under the Adobe Campus Agreement. Once you have ordered this free offer, your Adobe Enterprise ID will be activated within one business day or sooner*.

*Tip: complete step one now and you'll be ready on October 11th to download the CC Desktop App

Step Two: After the 24 hour activation period, login to Adobe.Com by entering your University email address and choosing the Enterprise ID account option. This will take you to the familiar shibboleth login screen. Once you complete the two-factor authentication, you will be routed back to the Adobe.com homepage.

Step Three: Download and install the CC Desktop App which gives you access to manage the entire suite of Creative Cloud applications. The Creative Cloud Desktop App is essentially a control panel that allows you to easily install and update Adobe programs, access tutorials, and store and share files with colleagues.

In addition to online training resources, your Enterprise account includes access to Adobe's Education Exchange where faculty share project ideas, teaching resources and expertise. You also get 20 GBs of storage space and access to the Creative Cloud web portal for easy file management.

Creative Cloud Support on Campus

There are a number of resources available to help you get the most from these Adobe applications. Log into the Webstore to register for free FAST 3 hands-on workshops, or check out the online resources available from Adobe and LinkedIn Learning.

How Do Students Access Creative Cloud?

University of Illinois Students are eligible to purchase a discounted Creative Cloud license through the Webstore for $185 per year. With the new Shared Device Licensing (SDL) agreement, students can now login with their NetID at most campus computer labs for free access to all the latest Creative Cloud applications.

Student Access to the Adobe Portal

WebStore has enabled Urbana student access to the Adobe Portal including 2G of free file storage, and free access to Adobe Education Exchange where they'll find Adobe courses, workshops and tutorials. This also gives students free use of​​​ Adobe Spark with these premium features:
