And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. Jeremiah 32:38

It has been almost 3 months since I got back here in Thailand for my apprenticeship. I know it has been that long that I have not sent an update but here it goes, I’m sorry this might take you long to read please bear with me as I share my experiences here in Chiang Rai, Thailand for the last couple of months.

Since I got back I have been involved in an outreach team that serves at the north of Chiang Rai City. We travel 30 minutes every Saturday going to Muaeng Kham Village, Nang Lae, Chiang Rai. The land of this sub-district produces pineapple and the people in the village that we go to is can be categorize in low to middle class. We have been teaching English to the kids around the village and we meet at the house of Khem who asked if one of the AMO’s team can teach at her village. We divided the class according to their age and level in English, our student are ages 6 to 11 years old.
Last Valentines we had a party for the youth and I got the privilege to share an experience through a spoken word. The main theme that we all shared was how is it important to value ourselves and not seek love with the wrong thinking of what love is.
Operation Christmas Child, we invited every students parents to be there and see their kids receive gifts from people who doesn’t even know them. We want them to see that even at a distance a small act of kindness can go farther and can make a kid feel loved.
Last March 4, 2017, we had a graduation for the 1st level of the curriculum that we are using and to encourage the kids and their parents we invited Bishop Ariel Acuṅa, AMO Foundations President to give a special message.
As the school year has ended and summer came, we had Vacation Bible School for the kids. But because Thailand is not a Christian nation and most of the locals are not open to the Gospel yet we renamed the event from VBS to Kids Camp. It was such a joyful 2 day event to see the kids that I taught last year and the kids that I am teaching now at the outreach come together along with other kids all over Chiang Rai to just play and have fun and hear how it is to be courageous like Esther and to not follow the example of Gehazi for being dishonest.
As a result of the kids camp, our students in Nang Lae increased. Join our team as we rejoice in the success of what the Lord has done.

Please pray with me as my apprenticeship moves forward let our ministry move forward too, where God intends it. Please pray for the family that opens their doors to us every Saturday, Kem and Paw is the couples name and their two daughters, Mungpond and Pungporn. New responsibilities have given to me for the past months I ask that you would include me in your prayers. In this new season I believe as God stretches me I only have two option to grow or shrink back and I choose to grow wherever he leads and whatever challenges may come.

"And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me. I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul. For thus says the Lord: Just as I have brought all this great disaster upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good that I promise them." - Jeremiah 32: 38-42 I believe this is the word that God is releasing to the land of Thailand, I ask that you would declare this word with me. God's word is true and He carry out what he had promised.
