The Freshman 15 A Heavy Issue to Talk About

Freshman are overjoyed with the amount of independence they hold when arriving on campus.

A lot of this independence revolves around the choices of food the freshman have.

Students go from home cooked, healthier meals, to fatty, unhealthy college cuisine.

This constant disregard for what the freshman is eating allows for a fast weight gain that contributes to the nations obesity, which is a HUGE problem.

Initiatives need to be taken to incorporate more physical activities among housing complexes by RAs.

This way, elimination of extreme weight gain will minimize health risks and promote a happier college experience.
