Sarasota art and culture scene is an impressive one - local art fairs are a very common affair on a weekend. Since the early 1920 Sarasota has been building it reputation with The Ringling Art Legacy, Ringling College of Art + Design founded in 1931, Artful neighborhoods like Towles Court, Gillespie Park and Rosemary District.

Sarasota is home to some famous modern architectural, a movement during 1940 to 1960. Sarasota School of Architecture were responsible for some of our most amazing modern century historical homes around town. Architects and designers responsible for these wonderful examples are Philip Hiss, Paul Rudolph, Ralph Twitchell, Victor Lundy and Jack West.
