Eating with Erica Friendsgiving 2016

True friendship multiplies the good in life and divides its evils. Strive to have friends, for life without friends is like life on a desert island... to find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune; to keep him is a blessing.

FRIENDSGIVING. Noun. A Thanksgiving feast held by and for someone's friends.

"Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you; spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life."

— Amy Poehler

Have you ever met that one person who is larger than life? They never walk through a door, they fling it wide open at break neck speed and announce, "Here I am world...Get to know me."

Enter. Erica.

Several years ago I was blessed to meet the incomparable Erica Angie and even more so now to call her a friend.

For her Annual Friendsgiving Dinner, we were invited to American Cut, a premier Atlanta steakhouse.

As is her style, Erica selected an amazing menu for her friends to enjoy including Double Cross Vodka Cranberry Mule signature cocktails, 1924 Hotel Caesar Salads...

Shrimp Cocktail Batch 22, Beeler's Farm Bacon...

Filet Mignon...

Seared Salmon...

Roasted Springer Mountain Chicken...

And side dishes to include Sunchoked Spinach and Potato Puree Robuchon.

The selection of desserts was fabulous and included Praline Sundaes with Caramel Popcorn...

To these deliciously gorgeous tarts with ice cream.

Thank you so much to Erica and American Cut for an amazing dining experience.

There is nothing better than a friend, unless it's a friend with chocolate.

Our fun didn't end with dinner or the glasses of wine and cocktails that followed on the rooftop.

There were SWAG BAGS!

A VERY special thank you to Sephora, Black Box Wines, Candlefish, Double Cross Vodka and LUSH for these fantastic products!

BUT MOST OF ALL

...a very special thank you to my beautiful friend Erica for a fabulous Friendsgiving.
