WOOZLE NASHVILLe, TN

"The Most Promising Jam Band To Come Out Of Georgia Since Those Panic (Widespread Panic) Boys Back In The Day..." - Tinsley Ellis, Southern Blues-Rock Legend.

Woozle is Jack Boyanton, Jody Chamberlain, Max Klein, and Hayes Smith. After forming popular Atlanta based Dead tribute, Captain Trips & The Sunstroke Serenaders, Jack and Jody moved to Nashville to attend school at Belmont University and MTSU respectively. Both have played to packed crowds at popular venues and festivals across the southeast such as Terminal West, Smith's Olde Bar, The Local, the Vista Room, Jerry Jam, and Joestock Jubilee. They opened to a sold out crowd for Atlanta based blues legend Tinsley Ellis as well as paid tribute to Jerry Garcia at multiple "Jerry Days" since their formation in 2016. After moving to Nashville, Jack and Jody, along with Belmont graduate and bassist for local progressive metal group Wave Theory, Max Klein formed Nashville's most promising improvisational-focused group - Woozle. The lineup was recently solidified with the addition of percussionist and slide guitarist Hayes Smith. Hayes studied at the Drummers Collective of New York. While living in New York City, Hayes became very involved in the improvisational jazz-fusion scene. Hayes is currently an engineer and session musician at Sarum Productions in Nashville. Woozle is known for it's high energy live shows and daring elasticity.
