The war began after the abduction of Queen Helen of Sparta by the Trojan Prince Paris. The war had ended once the Greeks had used a wooden horse to enter the city of Troy.

The major player in the Trojan war were, Priam, Odysseus, Hector, Menelaus, Diomedes, Paris, Helen of Troy, Briseis, Iphigenia.

The odyssey relates to the Trojan War because, it talks about the last few days of the Trojan War. Also talks about the Trojan horse history.

Who is homer?

Homer was a Greek poet. He was born sometime between the 12th and 8th centuries B.C. Possibly on the coast of of Asia Minor.
