Donald Trump Justification for deportation

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending they're best, they're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists." - Donald Trump
Donald Trump states that illegal immigrants take jobs from American workers, yet immigrants take jobs that American workers do not want. They also usually get paid very poorly and the working conditions aren't too good. He also states that they are a burden on welfare, but they cannot receive it. In fact, illegal workers pay for benefits that they will never receive. Illegal immigrants bring in a revenue of 11.6 billion dollars. If permitted to work legally, they would bring in 2.1 billion dollars more.

Trump claims that immigrants are taking american jobs, but studies have found that immigrants have little effect on american workers. Teenage workers who didn't finish high school saw a decline in their hours of work reduced by immigrants, but not their ability to find jobs. In fact, high-skilled immigrants, especially in technology and science, who have come in larger numbers in recent years, have had a "positive impact" on American with skills. Also on the working class Americans.

When Trump was inaugurated to office, many students at McCallum High School walked out and went to protest downtown. There were thousands of protests nationwide.

Trump also wants to build a wall that extends from each end of the border. The cost Trump cited during his campaign was 12 billion dollars. The new estimated cost of the wall is 21.6 billion dollars. It would also take three years to build.
