PTSA General Membership Meeting

We have been given the opportunity to combine our General Membership Meeting with PRHS PTSA. They are having Kathy Stewart, Special Agent Senior with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency-State Bureau of Investigation Special Victims Unit come and talk about internet and social media safety. It will be February 19th @ 6pm at PRHS. We think this is a really great topic to learn more about, especially for our age children.

YMCA Jr. Youth Legislature 2020

C7 and C8 representatives at the annual YMCA Junior Youth Legislature 2020, where they learned about parliamentary procedure, debate, and wrote sample legislation. This day is a wonderful entry for learners into the world of state-level legislation. Extremely proud of Noah Gaston, C8, and Charlie Gaston, C7, who were both recognized as Outstanding Delegates.

PRMS Robotics

PRMS Robotics has been working hard since their late start in October. Teams spent November and December building their VEX robots and programming them to compete in this years Vex Squared Away challenge. All PRMS teams competed in their first tournament in January at PRES. They did awesome with PRMS TEAM 4 coming in 3rd and PRMS Team 3 winning the judges award! On February 1st our teams went to Auburn to compete and PRMS Team 2 made it to the qualifying rounds. Way to go PRMS Robotics!

Congratulations PRMS Students of the Month!

Teacher of the Month

Congratulations Mrs. Rainey on being selected February Teacher of the Month!

Here are some of the wonderful things her students have to say about her:

  • "She is the most nice and caring person ever and also helps her students if they need it."
  • "She is always helpful and energetic."
  • "She is the most nice and caring person ever and also helps her students if they need it."
  • "Mrs. Rainey has been an amazing teacher. She is funny, kind, and helpful. She has answered all of my questions. English has been my best subject this year. That means she is explaining everything and making things a little easier for students that are struggling. I don't remember struggling with an assignment in English this year. She sometimes will plan something fun to go along with the assignment, like a Quizziz or a Gimkit. I really admire her and I hope she gets to be the teacher of the month this month."

Created with images by Jesse Goll - "We were exploring the various booths and tents at the Loveland Fire & Ice festival when I found this sign setup inside a massive inflatable igloo. The lighting inside the igloo was beautifully diffused and practically begged me to take photos. This sign was sitting on a display table and does an amazing job summing up the heart and culture that is the Loveland art community." • Ben White - "“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” ― Dr. Seuss" • Stella de Smit - "untitled image" • Peter Fogden - "untitled image"
