Band Picture Day

Tomorrow, Saturday, November 14th, we will have individual pictures taken professionally of all Prosper Band Members. Individual pictures will used to create section and full band composite pictures and included in this year's band yearbook, along with the school yearbook, advertising, media postings, etc. In addition, all seniors will be taking multiple pictures for a special feature in this year's band yearbook.

All pictures will be taken professionally by Cedarbrook Media Group and will be made available to purchase directly through their website for those interested. We will be releasing purchasing information soon.

The schedule for pictures is as follows:

Flutes & Clarinets: 9am

Alto Saxes & Low Reeds: 9:30am

Percussion: 10am

Trumpets: 10:30am

Horn & T-Bone: 11am

Tubas & Baritones: 11:30am

Color Guard: 12:00pm

Students should also arrive at PHS in full uniform and they will need their instrument/flag for the picture. The process should go very quickly as long as we stay on schedule, so please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time.

If you cannot make your designated time, then please choose a time listed when you can. We will also have an alternative date set later on for those that will be unable to make it; however, it is important that we take as many pictures on Saturday as possible.

Homecoming / Forthcoming Parade Canceled

A Message from PISD:

Due to the recent increase in positive COVID cases in our school community and in our state, we have had to weigh the benefits of next week’s parade with the health and safety of our students, staff, and parents. While this time-honored tradition is important to our community, we would never want this event to be the cause of increased cases. We realize that not having the Homecoming/Forthcoming parade will be disappointing after the time and effort many of you have put into preparing for the parade, but please know that we will get through these challenging times together. We look forward to returning to this tradition next year.
