  1. Facts about Toby Mckeenhan and his Writing: Toby Mckeenhan attended Liberty University, a college which puts it's faith towards God and already known as a christian school. Majority of Toby's lyrics are associated towards God.
  2. Toby Mckeenhan has 5 children and he mentions them in his writing talking about whether his children knows what they want out of life.
  3. Toby Mckeenhan is a creater/ founder of E.R.A.C.E, a non-profit organization that promotes racial reconciliation.
  4. Toby always include race into his writings. In his writing, Boomin, it states "If you're looking to slide, come slide with us and if you're looking for a ride, it's a big old bus. We got black folk, white folk, and Middle east. Mexican, Filipino - Jesus Freaks.
  5. Toby Mckeenhan is the founder of Gotee Records after he was not able to find a record for a artist group know as "Out of eden".
  6. Toby writes his songs in hope to make people stir something inside of them in order to make their lives richer.
  7. Tobymac has won 7 grammy awards and has been nomintated 8 times.

Although Tobymac is known as a rapper, his writing is also considered as poetic."Ill-M-I" is one of his songs which contains many figurative languages.

"Flow like the Cassius, swing like the Clay" This line is a simile and somewhat of a allusion. It is comparing the flow and swing to Cassius Clay. Cassius Clay was the former name of famous boxer Muhammad Ali.

"Transmit 'n throwin' fits 'n paparazzi like zits" This is a simile because he is comparing the annoying paparazzi like zits. When someone has zits on their face, it can get annoying with them just like paparazzi following you everywhere.

"I do windows (on school days) spill Jim Jones (type kool-aid)" This is an allusion because he is making a reference to the people's temple which was founded by Jim Jones. The "type kool-aid" line was the reference to the mass suicide of Jonestown. Many people had consumed what was a grape flavor that was poisoned. They force to drink it by Jim Jones.

"One day, I'm'a make the whole world pay with k.o.'s and okay we bash clots-n-dot-dash" This is a Hyperbole. The author is claming he is going to pay back the earth with knockouts. In reality, the author can't knockout the earth because it is physically impossible to do so.
