PRE-K LOVES TO READ!

Pre-K students loved the opportunities to read library books and engage in literacy activities, both in the library and in the classroom.

Kindergarten puts the DESIGN LAB into the library!

Kindergartners have engaged in numerous design and science activities this season. Students have created globes, excavated objects from aquatic sand molds, and designed a garden from sky to soil.

FIRST GRADE FUN!

First Graders have had a fun, engaging spring in the Library and Design Lab. They have played literacy games, listened to stories, explored their creative side, and made cascarones-- confetti eggs traditionally used in Mexican celebrations.

SECOND GRADE CREATORS

Second Graders utilized recycled magazines to craft flowers after listening to books by Peter H. Reynolds.

THIRD GRADE RABID READERS

Third Graders are some of the Library's biggest customers, checking out a total of 1,373 books this year alone!

FOURTH AND FIFTH GRADE: DESIGN TO SAVE THE PLANET

Fourth and Fifth Graders worked together, using the Design Process to build prototypes of machines that would clean-up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in the ocean.
