Cool-looking bridges And their stories

Some bridges around the world look really cool. Truly wonders of engineering.

Here are some examples:

Da Vinci Bridge, Norway

Located over European Route E16, Ås, Norway, the Da Vinci Bridge was proposed by the man himself for the king of Constantinople in 1502. The sketch was lost for more than 400 years, being found only in 1952. The bridge was finally completed in 2001, and replaced the one considered "Norway's ugliest bridge"

Royal Gorge Bridge, Colorado

Build in 1929 for the purpose of tourism and not actual transportation, the Royal Gorge Bridge looks really dangerous. It held the record for the highest bridge in the world until 2002 and the speed limit while crossing it is 5mph.
