Ending on a High Note

After finishing second in the Centennial Conference, Swarthmore Volleyball went on to the ECAC tournament. The Garnet traveled to Lebanon Valley College to defend our title, and went undefeated for the weekend to be back-to-back ECAC Champions! This year was the first year that the ECAC decided to combine all 4? of its regional championships. The Garnet defeated Emerson College in straight sets to claim the title.

Awards and Accolades

In addition to some hardware from the ECAC's, Swarthmore Volleyball racked up both individual and team awards for this season both in the Centennial Conference and region.

Congrats to Mehra den Braven, Sarah Girard, and Sarah Wallace for receiving All-Conference honors! Mehra was named second-team All Centennial Conference, and both Girard and Wallace were named first team All-Conference.

Congrats to Sarah Wallace for being named to the Academic All-district team, as well as receiving Honorable Mention from the American Volleyball Coaches Association! You go, girl!

Congrats to senior Amanda Reed! She was named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship team for her spectacular leadership and sportsmanship throughout her four years.

Excelling on the Court and in the Classroom

Sarah Wallace and Sarah Girard were named to the Academic All-Centennial Team, and 9 other players were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Role. Congrats to Christina Schincovich, Amanda Reed, Olivia Leventhal, Bridget Scott, Malia Scott, Alice Liu, Guin Mesh, Elise Cummings, and Emily Kibby.

It was a great season, and thanks for all of your support that made it possible!
