Carys and Simon's glorious June wedding

at St John's Church, Moordown, Bournemouth and Holme for Gardens , Wareham

Carys and Simon live in Australia so it was only a week before their wedding that I met them face to face for their pre-wedding consultation and photo shoot.

We had a good look around the venue and took a few photos there before heading off to take some photos in the Dorset countryside with Corfe Castle in the background.

The day of their wedding started off cloudy but the forecast was for sun and it duly arrived as the wedding guests arrived at the church.

Carys' bridal preparations were at the lovely Green House Hotel in Bournemouth.........

................while Simon was getting ready at his parents home in Bournemouth

Simon's Mum and a few of her friends had decorated the church and it looked beautiful.

Carys looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle on her father's arm

To remind them of home once they were back in Australia Carys and Simon wanted some photographs with the English countryside in the background so we found a pretty little place to stop on the way to the reception.

The wedding reception was held at Holme for Gardens near Wareham which was a perfect venue for a June wedding. The gardens were in full bloom and looked amazing.

The most amazing wedding cake !
