Remembering the Reformation in the footsteps of Martin luther 500 years later

More than 100 Valparaiso University Alumni and Friends traveled to Germany on a trip lead by Professor Matthew Becker, Ph.D. to remember the Reformation with visits to many sites important in the life of Martin Luther.

The tour group was able to worship at St. Augustine's Monestary church in Erfut on Sunday, October 29.
On Reformation Day, October 31, the Valparaiso Chorale began its day singing at St. Thomas Church in Leipzig. The tour group and President Mark Heckler were in attendance.
The Valpo Chorale and tour group then moved to Wittenberg and the Church Castle where they all participated in the Hymn Festival.
