MOST COLLEGE STUDENTS COMPLAIN ABOUT THE MEALS ON THEIR CAMPUSES AND RIGHTFULLY SO.
TYPICAL COMPLAINTS CENTER AROUND THE QUALITY, QUANTITY, AND VARIETY OF FOOD OFFERED ON THEIR CAMPUSES.
At Bowdoin, that is definitely not the case.
With 2 dining halls, a coffee shop, a pub & grill, and a convenience store all on campus, the Polar Bears are eating WELL!!!
Moulton Dining Hall has a nice intimate setting for any meal. Our players love breakfast here everyday.
Thorne Dining Hall stays open until 7:30, a perfect way to end the day with your teammates after practice.
The Cafe is the spot for a morning smoothie or that afternoon boost.
Jack Magee's Pub & Grill is open until midnight & is a great place for a quick bite.
Need a quick pick me up? The Polar Express aka the C-Store has everything you need.
Bowdoin is committed to sustainability and a farm-to-table dining experience. On a typical day, we aim to make sure that at least 35% of everything offered comes from local suppliers.
So if you want to eat healthy...
or you just want to treat yourself, Bowdoin has what you're looking for.
Don't worry we're pretty good at spoiling our students too. Whether it's the lobster bake to welcome students back to school,
Our annual Thanksgiving Dinner
or, our world famous Bowdoin Dessert Log (crushed oreo, ice cream, and hot fudge).
Bowdoin Dining Services has you covered and will treat you like family!
And if you see this 95 year old youngster having a meal in either dining hall, make sure you stop by and say hello! Mike Linkovich is Bowdoin's living legend!
You can see for yourself, at our Junior Day on April 29th or our camps on July 29th and August 5th.
