2018-19 Institute Highlights

About the Levesque Institute

Guided by Niagara University's Strategic Plan, our structure informs everything we do.

Why We Do What We Do

Community partners are the key to making an impact on the community.

Niagara University Colleges and programs have a role in community revitalization.

Early Childhood

The social emotional, cognitive, and physical development has a direct effect on overall development of children. The Levesque Institute is committed to the need of investing in young children in order to maximize their future and overall well-being.

Community Outreach

The programs under our community outreach pillar surround civic engagement, literacy development, college and career readiness, and support of vulnerable populations.

Health & Wellness

The Institute’s health & wellness programs focus on addressing root causes of this issue, to find ways to make healthy, affordable foods more accessible to the community.

The Levesque Institute, in partnership with over 30 community partners, is dedicated to decrease the number of homes that sit vacant in the city, and increase home ownership.

IMPACT/ReNU connects Niagara University students to opportunities for “career preparation through service” to develop and assess measurable outcomes that can IMPACT a community.
