From the Mixed-Up Files Of Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler Book by:E. l. konigsburg Project by: pATRICK NGUYEN

The Character Section:

Claudia Doesn't want to stay with here parents so she runs away

Claudia's Trait: Smart and wasteful. Claudia is smart because when she and Jamie run away and they are at the museum, Claudia can solve want to do. Claudia is also wasteful because whenever she is somewhere with Jamie, she wants to do stuff that cost a lot of money. Claudia is very wasteful though, she may look like a kind girl, but she can spend more than what you can think of, and i mean it!

Jamie is confused when Claudia takes Jamie with her to run away

Jamie's Trait:Confusing and thoughtful. Jamie is thoughtful because when he and Claudia can't decide what to do, he always can think of a idea that sometimes combine their ideas. Jamie is also confusing because in the beginning of the book, he keeps saying that Claudia and him are going to a forest because Claudia said "Hide out in" and Claudia doesn't really mean if Jamie means to hide out somewhere else.

happy Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler

Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler:Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler Is well an old kind. I come to think that she is thoughtful, and amazing. She's thoughtful maybe because she plays cards with Jamie(Even though Jamie cheats) and she puts a file in a very secret place,(You'll be surprised in which file that file in!).And Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler is amazing because she does many amazing things that makes her think, and her thoughts are amazing!

I couldn't find old time money :(

MONEY!!!:This is not a character. This is just money. Money money money. In the book, it was kinda in the old time. I couldn't find any old times money, but I know that they had quarters in the old times, and coins. Jamie has a lot of money. About $23, which was a lot in Claudia's and Jamie's time. MONEY MONEY MONEY.

An angel statue

Angel Statue:This isn't a character. I just included this because I thought this statue is created a great place in the story. Claudia and Jamie find this statue in the museum. Claudia got too curious and found a "m" symbol. Claudia finds this symbol and wonders if the statue is carved by Michelangelo. They find someone who knows and read the book to find out if Michelangelo carved it!

Setting:

NYC (Aka The big apple NYC)

The place they were at was NYC. Aka New York City! New York City is pretty big. The next setting below is in New York City. Claudia and Jamie went here because they place was big, and where they would live was in NYC. In their time, there was a lot of people. And the museum (Below) is in NYC.

Im pretty sure this is where Jamie and Claudia stayed when they ran away, the Museum is called Metropolitan Museum of Art!

Settings: The Setting was most likely in New York City. And Then Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler's Home. New York setting was where The Museum was, also a setting. The went to "New York City" Since there is a lot of people there, and the museum! Then Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler's Home. (I think in the office of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler)

Favorite part and character:

My favorite Part: My favorite part wasn't what you would expect. I actually like the whole book. I feel like I have too many favorite parts. read maybe the end, you might enjoy!

My favorite character is........ Jamie! Jamie is my favorite character because he doesn't spend much money(kinda like me). Claudia, (Not being rude), is bossy to Jamie. She tells Jamie what to do. Sometimes I feel like I have to be told what to do anywhere I go.

Other Stuff!

The boy represents Jamie, the girl represents Claudia, the building represents the Museum, the old woman represents Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler, and the statue Represents the angel Statue.

Summary:Jamie and Claudia runs away from home. Claudia is sick of home, but Jamie I'm sure he isn't sick of home. Jamie and Claudia live in the Metropolitan Museum of fine arts in New York City. Claudia and Jamie soon figure out that an angel statue is being sold! They want to know if Michelangelo Carved that statue. They soon send mail to see if the Museum can find a clue Jamie and Claudia finds. The Museum doesn't but that doesn't stop Claudia. They soon visit Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, since they feel like Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler has the answer. She does, but I can't spoil that part. If you do figure out that part, I hope you enjoy!

Questions I had:How much would $225 (or around $225) be in this time. I know it was $225 in the old times on (Around $225 in the book) which was a lot in that time. Why was

Sad Claudia

I tried getting a confused "close enough" Jamie

A Happy Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler
