Kim Grantham Artist statement

I am a visual communicator, an illustrator, a narrator, a painter and in some cases, even a trainer. I have been and always will be, first and foremost, an artist. Graphic art is about communication and making connections, it has the potential to be used in an incredible number of applications, when creating a logo for example; I focus intensely on the design and development in many different contexts and media. Digital art is like telling stories. The clients give me their ideas, so that I can make their advertising dreams a reality. For example; Green Organics logo design; included a turtle with the earth painted on his back and he is surrounded by people and pets. Their Slogan is “Earth Friendly, People Friendly, Pet Friendly.”

A skillful design, along with appropriated imagery, helps direct the aesthetics of my art work. It is important to understand every aspect of a project in order to come up with the best solution possible. I consider how it will appear in the different contexts such as, online, print and even large-scale ads. From a logo to an advertisement, Graphic Design is the process of taking and idea and converting it into an illustrative image. It is important to develop a concept that delivers the clients message in the most influential way. Graphic Design surrounds us and a useful design always communicates the client’s vision.

Kim Grantham is an Arizona native, owner, and founder of Realizationz graphic design services. self-professed jack of all trades, who grew up with a passion for drawing and artistic pursuits of all kinds. A confident and creative designer who is self-motivated, self-sufficient and comes to you with a strong background in both print and digital media. Kim specializes in logo design, branding, and web design. She is self-motivated, self-sufficient and comes with a strong, genuine love and passion for creative design. Her experience in the print and digital media field allows her to deliver original graphics for a wide range of businesses.

Apart from her advanced graphic design production skills, her key strengths lie in her ability to grasp needs and consider practical solutions. During her career, she has used typography, imagery and creative concepts to give her customers a visual treat. On a personal level, she loves all aspects of art and considers every client’s wishes.
