2016 SEASON OVERVIEW
Under the guidance of first-year Head Coach Adam Gase, the 2016 season saw the Dolphins finish with a 10-6 record and earn a berth in the playoffs for the first time since 2008. After starting the 2016 season with a 1-4 record, the Dolphins utilized a six-game winning streak to help put themselves in playoff position. With a new canopy and a modernized stadium, the Dolphins wasted no time establishing a home-field advantage at Hard Rock Stadium.
HARD ROCK STADIUM ANNOUNCEMENT
2016 marked the inaugural year of Hard Rock Stadium. On August 17th, 2016, the announcement of Hard Rock Stadium was made in the exact way you would expect: music, memorabilia, lights and a guitar smashing ceremony. The Miami Dolphins welcomed Hard Rock International CEO, Jim Allen to participate in the festivities, alongside players Ndamukong Suh, Jarvis Landry and Reshad Jones, and Dolphins President & CEO Tom Garfinkel. Oh, and of course, Mr. 305 himself, Pitbull!
CANOPY AND VIDEOBOARD UNVEIL
With the new state-of-the-art open air canopy, 92% of fans are shaded and protected from the natural elements, making Hard Rock Stadium’s game-day experience one of the best in the NFL. Fans can enjoy the game from any seat on every level with four new high-definition video boards, totaling 22,400 square footage.
IN STADIUM AWARENESS
During the 2016 season Floor & Decor was prominent around the Stadium with the use of the Video Board Feature, LED Ribbon Board, Lower Corner Box and Plaza Activations.
Warm Up Like A Pro
Prior to each game during the 2016 season, Floor & Decor was the sponsor of the player warmups. The Floor & Decor logo was on the Video Board for approximately ten (10) minutes prior to each game.
LED Ribbon Board
The Ribbon Board at Hard Rock Stadium is a 360 degree LED board that wraps around the interior of the stadium. Along with the Warm Up Like A Pro feature, Floor & Decor used their contracted LED Ribbon Board to showcase available product and increase brand awareness within the stadium.
Along with the in-bowl exposure, Floor & Decor also activated at two (2) games during the 2016. The Floor & Decor activation included a Miami Dolphins Football Toss, "Look Like a Pro" Player Cast, and Floor & Decor Activation Tent. At the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills game.
Lower Corner Box
For the final two games, as an added value, Floor & Decor received logo recognition on the Lower Corner Box of the video boards at Hard Rock Stadium. In total the Floor & Decor received fifty three minutes and thirty six seconds (53:36) of exposure.

Floor & Decor also received the following tickets to the 10/23 Buffalo Bills game:
- Twenty (20) 200 level tickets
- Eight (8) 100 level tickets

- Twenty (20) Pre-game Field Passes
- Ten (10) Parking Passes
During the month of September 2016, Floor & Decor received rotating banner ads on the Miami Dolphins Web Page, dolphins.com. For the length of the month Floor & Decor received the following impressions and clicks.
Along with the banner ads, Floor & Decor will be conducting a Social Media Sweepstakes during the month of April. Fans will be able to register to win a $1,000 Room Make courtesy of Floor & Decor.
As 2016 was the first year of the Floor & Decor/Dolphins partnership, and to help establish the Floor & Decor brand in the South Florida community. On August 20th, the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, Fins Force, and Alumni attended one Floor & Decor grand opening in Riviera beach FL. This event energized the local community and allowed Floor & Decor to open a new store with a BANG!
