Round Res Challenge 2017 Acre Street runners

The Round Res, a 5k relay event for teams of 3 people (runners or walkers), the challenge starts and finishers above Scammonden Water (NW of Huddersfield) you & your team, follow the pre-marked route around the reservoir following the well made tracks and trail. Each member of your team has to run at least 1 X 5k leg of the reservoir to the finish line or to hand over to the next person.

Timings & Event Centre Location

Timings - Registration - from 6.30pm - 6:55pm there you will collect your relay baton. Start - Start time = 7:00pm

Event Centre Location - Low Platt Ln, Huddersfield, HD3 3FR

Park in the car park just off Low Platt Ln

Refreshments, Presentations & Toilets

Refreshments - Will be available at the event centre during the event. (Water, juice and snacks)

Presentation - This will take place at The White Swan, Outlane, HD3 3YQ. We are booked in from 8:30 pm and aim to have presentations by approximately 8:45pm followed by Pie and Peas supper

Toilets - Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities at Scammmondon but you are welcome to drop into The White Swan on your way to or from the event.

From Event centre on Low Platt Ln

Head north on Low Platt Ln towards 68 - 0.1 mi - Low Platt Ln turns slightly right and becomes 68/Chapel Hill Ln

Continue to follow 68 - 0.4 mi - Turn right onto 68/Hey Ln - 0.4 mi

Turn left onto New Hey Rd/A640 - 2.1 mi - Turn right onto New Hey Rd
