NEWS FROM THE COUNTRYSIDE MONTESSORI MIDDLE SCHOOLERS weekly updates on what's going on in the community

For art last week we presented artwork for an art competition. The Annual Youth Art Competition was for the youth in the grades of kindergarten through eighth grade. This year all 11 Middle Schoolers drew pictures for the competition. Francesca Noordover, a seventh grader, placed third this year. Her picture was a forest that was painted in acrylic. All of the paintings varied in medium including acrylic, pastel, and charcoal. Students had exquisite and intricate pieces.

Throughout the next couple newsletters we are going to be adding a new section that tells the parents a little more about us, the Countryside Montessori Middle Schoolers. For this week, you will be learning more about the hockey-loving Tess Clark.

How long have you been going to Countryside Montessori?

I have been going to Countryside for an entire nine years. I started when I was two and later left when I was seven. I eventually joined back when I was nine years old and have been here every since.

What is your most favorite subject here at school?

I enjoy Math because I love solving the complicated problems the teachers give to us to keep us challenged.

What are some activities you do in your free time?

I stalk Ryan Reynolds - just kidding. I like to read and most importantly, I play hockey.

How long have you been playing hockey?

I have been playing hockey for three years and have enjoyed every second of it.

What got you interested in hockey?

I got inspired to play hockey through my godmother because she was in the Olympics for hockey.
