Orientation Day 1: Welcome to Campbell Medicine

Eager new medical students began arriving on campus as early as 8am on the morning of Wednesday, July 25 to check-in for Orientation.

The class of '22 didn't leave empty handed after receiving their textbooks, laptops, and official fitting for their Campbell Medicine white coat.

Campbell Medicine namesake and Chancellor, Dr. Jerry M. Wallace, joined Dean John Kauffman in welcoming the incoming class.

Welcome to the Creek Picnic

The incoming class joined faculty and staff members for lunch.

Orientation Day 2: Information Sessions

Students gathered in the lecture hall for information sessions that included an overview of curriculum, resources and student life.

Biomedical Sciences to Student Doctors

These students can attest that hard work really does pay off. Having recently completed our Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) program here at Campbell Medicine, these scholars are excited for the next 4 years as medical students.

Food Truck Friday

On the final day of Orientation students enjoy good food and fellowship in front of Levine Hall.

Service Project

The class of 2022 participated in an annual community service project where over 20,000 meals were prepared to distribute to rural communities throughout North Carolina.

Student Ambassadors assist with unloading materials and setting up for the service project.

A Humbling Experience

Throughout the service project students worked together to prepare as many packaged meals as possible, constantly being reminded of the difference they will be making in the lives of others.

After 3 days of Campbell Medicine prep, we wrapped up Orientation with Mama Bird's Ice Cream.
