Goals Project Kayla Slofer | Period 1

Semester Goal:

My goal for this semester is to end my freshman year with all A's and when my report card comes in, with a 3.5 GPA or higher. And also to do good on my math test's with means to study at least to days before and I will ask a lot of questions if I don't understand the lesson. And to also try my hardest in all of my classes.

English Class Goal

"There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass a examination and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning" -Jiddu Krishnamurti

My goal for English class is to try not to have missing work, and to turn in all my assignments in on time. And to also to take good and acceptable notes, to study 30 minutes or more the day before a test, so I can have a high A.

High School Goal

My high school goal is to pass all of my classes throughout the whole four years, and to not take any classes twice. And to have a grade higher than a C and just have A's and B's, which means to put a lot of effort and time into my school work and don't rush on any of my test's in my classes. I would say the highest percentage I can accept and at least try to do would be a 90% or higher. And I will ask a lot of questions if i don't understand the assignment or topic. And to keep busy, maybe join a sport like softball but to always put my school work first.

After High School Goal

My main goal after high school is to apply for a lot of scholarships, and a part- time job to help pay for the college or university I want to go. And to also get a letter from a well known university asking me to be their student. Once I'm in college the highest degree I want to go for is up to a Phd to have more options and more higher paying jobs. I know this will take a lot of dedication, effort and commitment, and I'm willing to do that.

Personal Growth

For my personal growth I'd like for me to be independent and to find my own way through this journey after high school. I know this wont be easy and looks very hard watching my uncle and aunte do it, but it also proves that I can do it to. And I'd like to learn from my mistakes and after high school I get to learn how the real world is, and to buy stuff on my own and to learn to provide for myself.
