Trojans Rout Sun Devils in Darnold's First Home Start USC topped ASU, 41-20, for its first Pac-12 South victory

After giving up an early field goal, Clay Helton's men charged down the field to take a lead they would never surrender.

Early on, safety Jonathan Lockett hauled in his first career interception.

Lockett was one of many standouts on a night when the Trojan defense held ASU to a season-low in points and yards.

Sam Darnold pieced together an impressive performance, going 23-of-33 for 352 yards, 3 pass TD and a rush TD.

WR JuJu Smith-Schuster tied a career-high with three receiving TD. He finished the day with seven catches for 123 yards.

JuJu's big game turned some heads, including USC alum Rey Maualuga's

Freshman WR Michael Pittman recorded his first career reception.

WR Deontay Burnett also hauled in seven passes, for 93 yards (both career highs).

RB Justin Davis ran for 100+ yards for the second straight game on an impressive 8.8 yards per carry.

With the Trojans up 27-6 at halftime, USC honored its Rio Olympians.

The Trojans gave up two TD in the second half after replacing most of their starters, but cruised to a 41-20 victory.
