Since the company Proctor & Gamble own the brand they needed a name that started with the letter "P" so they took out their phone book and searched until they found a road that was Pringles Drive and they saw that Pringles wasn't trademarked so they took the name.

White - symbolizes a great product

Red - a warm color so it makes their product seem more appetizing.

Yellow- a happy color

Brown - represents the body hair on the character on the can

Pringles changed their logo throughout their history because they felt like they needed a change.
