After a tightly played first quarter, the Buckeyes began to take control just before the break, led by the guard tandem of Asia Doss and Sierra Calhoun.

Kelsey Mitchell and Doss each scored 15 points, Shayla Cooper grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds and Ohio State withstood a late charge from Western Kentucky to secure the seven-point victory.
