The Happy Red Dot We found happiness in our loneliness

In this lovely flower city, many people have imagined for a happy country-harmonious, peaceful and fair. Locals crave for successful jobs and living standards. Tourists look forward to a marvelous trip on top of the well-promoted tourism. However, what is happening in many residents' live are hardly portrayed. Are we really happy?

Many wish upon having their own flat in which they call their 'Home' but this is hardly possible due to the expensive loans.
People indulges in their own loneliness..
hoping to find peace within themselves
isolating one from the buzz of the outside world
to fill up the happiness which is lacking in their life.
So many times, we are so immersed in our own job and responsibilities in this fast-paced life.
We forget the presence of our society and the once kampong spirit.
Are we really going to let loneliness run our lives? Is loneliness our final destination?
Sometimes, I wonder. The loneliness and divided society we face today, is this the result of a better educated and higher striving society?

We may walk alone but we will not be alone forever. Sometimes, what we actually need is simply a company-our family, our friends, our love.

Getting together as a family for an outing
Catching up with our partner over a simple meal despite how busy we are

We found happiness in this hopeless place.

In the end, happiness is actually found in the simplest and purest way.
