GJHS is having a Great Year!!

Ninth grade Oral Communications students presented debates in class this week. Everyone did a great job researching their topics, and students were able to see viewpoints and perspectives on a variety of topics.

Hunter Boyd from Troop 435 headed up a food drive to help fellow students at GJHS. He shared that he saw a need and wanted to help. This food and all other donations go towards our weekly food bags and extended leave food boxes. Thank you Hunter and Troop 435!

Don't forget to check in with your digital teachers and Google Classrooms daily! Make sure you are completing daily assignments through Google Classroom, APEX, and/ or Virtual Arkansas.

Panther Cuisine Meal Pick Up Program:

The Panther Cuisine Meal program is a breakfast and lunch meal pick up program for Greenbrier students who are taking online classes through Greenbrier Academy or who have been quarantined through COVID-19. This curbside meal pick up service will be provided once per week at the Junior High Cafeteria on Thursdays from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (Noon) in a drive-through format, with each student receiving five breakfasts and five lunches. Parents/Guardians may pick up meals without their children present. Panther Cuisine meals meet and follow guidelines per USDA regulations. Menus are subject to change based on availability. This program is free to Greenbrier students. The following form must be completed by MONDAY at 12:00 pm (Noon) each week to request the total number of meals needed. Unless you are using disposable masks, please make sure to wash your face masks regularly. The face masks provided by the district are machine washable. If you need help with this, let us know!

Important Dates to Remember

December 21st-22nd- Virtual Blended Days- School will be open, however, families have the option of participating from home. Teachers will be available to assist by email. Completing missing work from the nine weeks is priority. Students must check their Advisory Google Classroom for their daily assignments to be given credit for attendance.
December 20th- 28th- Home Access Center and Eschool are down for maintenance. Students and families are encouraged to check grades and attendance prior to Sunday.
December 22nd- Last day of the 2nd nine weeks
December 23rd- January 5th- Christmas Break
January 6th- School is open for teachers, staff, and students
