September 1, 2020: Boston's commercial real estate market is still one of the strongest in the nation. While there's no denying that the commercial market has seen some changes, this change also opens up new opportunity for multi-tenant office-buildings located outside dense urban centers.
In the 2nd Quarter 2020, many businesses implemented work-from-home plans. Now, as they look to bring employees and customers back to the office retail spaces, they are devising new, strategic plans. Some include continued work-from-home options and office-downsizing. While others are opting for larger office floor plans to adequately distance workspaces.
And still many Boston businesses are seeing the benefits of relocating to and opening suburban offices outside of the metro city centers to take advantage of the lower lease rates, easier commutes, free on-site parking, and buildings wired for the future - yet still be accessible to Boston along Route 93, Route 3, and the Route 128/95 business belt.
