Politics- Iceland is a Constitutional Republic with a multi-party system. The President is the head of state. The Prime Minister of Iceland is the head of government in a multi-party system. Executive power is obtained by the government. Iceland is one of the oldest parliamentary democracy. The president is elected for a four year long term, with no term limit. Judicial Power lies within the Supreme Court and its district courts.

Economics- Iceland is considered to have a small economy subject to high volatility. Iceland's economy is reliant at a high level to tourism and fishing. Iceland has a low unemployment rate of 4.3%. There average salary is $3,160
