lost on sofood By Emily Pace Zelaya

What dangers do you see as a person stranded on this deserted island? There are animals in this island that are very dangerous .The foods that we have can die down or they may rot. There can be strong weathers that could damage our shelter or even the group
I think Ralph is the better leader. He keeps things in order and make sure that the goals are set and are ready to go.Every body in the group choose Ralph."Him,with the shell."Ralph!,Ralph!"
Simon is the peace maker. He wants everyone to stay calm. he is the "lord of the flies". He went to go see if the beast was really real. He was killed because they thought he was the beast.
characters: #1.Ralph "the chief"(10,23)fair 12 years old #2 piggy, short, fat , assmar (8,9) #3 jack the hunter #4 the little ones one of they died but there is a lot of more kids there is not a main count #5.simon the nice one who helps out piggy who every thought that he did nothing he told them that he did do something #8 Roger who gave up everything
There are many rules we have set aside. These rules can help us to draw closer to each other and to protect each other.Rule #1. we have to travel in two. if we are alone there is no way we can protect each other. #2. Don't go out at night. it can be dangerous in the night. there can be animals that can hurt you that you cannot even see #3.share resources. it is better to share thing if you have food then share with each other. we need to share shelter and food and anything that we need.#4.clean up after yourself. It is good to stay clean and not have your body be nasty. when cleaning up after your self can me many things. like when your done eating etc.#5.communicate effectively. To do this is very important like if we were descided to go kill something we need to listen to each other to make sure we are safe and we get what we need.#6.Do your job. if your job is to get food it is important to get the food so the rest of your group does not die of starvation.#7. DO NOT EAT EACH OTHER it is important that we stick together and live together.
The theme to this story is fearful. I choose that because they go through a lot of things like they are all alone with out adults. They are trying to make a fire but no smoke is coming through. The fire got crazy and went out through the woods and they killed the little boy with the moberry spot on his face
foreshadowing- a warning or indication of (a future event). there is a lot of foreshadowing in this book like when the fire was getting out of hands it was a warning that it wont happen again and that the will be more careful with the fire. They did learned what they needed to do the next time it happened the needed to make sure that it was well taking care of

Ralph has said, “This is a good island” (Golding 35). Ralph’s pronouncement will prove ironic; it is definitely NOT a good island. What problems do readers already know about? Explain why these problems prove this is NOT a good island after all.

First off there is no adults to help them with anything. There is no smoke for them that will last like for hours. The fire they made went crazy and went off and killed the little boy

Describe the Beast that seems to be stalking the island. Use the text as backup for your info.

The beast seems to be a animal that live in the ocean and goes around the island and stalks them. " He says the beast comes out of the sea"....
Name at least two things the boys are doing or have given up that show how they are now operating on instinct and no longer trying to follow the rules of society. Explain your answers with information from the text
The boys are watching the fire but they saw a person with a parachute and thought it was the beast so they ran away.
"fifteen yards away from them came the plopping noise of fabric blown open.....
The boys are trying to find out what the beast is through out the book we wonder what animal is it and most people on he island said it is a thing that lives in the water and it stalks you. Other people say it has claws and it is furry and can Fly
Two rituals people are most familiar with are weddings and funerals. Pick an event (a wedding or a funeral). Make a list of at least 3 phrases people use at the event you picked. Using one of your phrases, explain why your phrase is helpful in the situation.
A funeral the 3 words that would be said is R.I.P which is rest in peace. we also have we will miss you or you will be in our prayers,Please accept my condolences.

Condolences-an expression of sympathy, especially on the occasion of a death. The rituals we are using is wanting us to use theses to make sure it connects to our book which is about the sacrifice of killing the pig. Please accept my condolences. That is the same with the pig when they kill the pig they are giving them some thing like offerings for the pig."We ought to have a drum said Maurice then we could do it properly." They are doing this like a sacrifice. They are going to give things to the pig or they people who killed it.

Choose a character, either Ralph or Jack and explain the effect seeing the Beast has on the character you have chosen. Use textual information to support your answer.

Jack is the strong person in the group and he went to go see the beast first on the mountain but when he saw it he was scared but he was also brave. "Then Jack found them and was shivering and croaking in a voice they could just recognize as his" He was scared but he was firm about what he saw. He was

Retell in your own words what has happened to Simon. Use textual evidence to help you create a vivid paragraph.

Simon was coming down to tell the boys that there was no beast and he had blood all over his face and when he was coming down during it all jacks crew was making a chant in the rain and one of the little ones thought he was the beast "Him!Him! The circle became a horse shoe. A thing was Crawling out of the forest..They got crazy and when they saw him they stared to attack him and he tried to get away but he could not. They beat him so hard that he died "... simon dead body moved out toward the open sea"

In life people create groups. These groups might be at school, in sports, in extracurricular activities, and through religious organizations. Explain what needs groups fill for people. Explain both the positive and negative aspects of being part of a group. You may relate this to our novel, or you may make it a person reflection of your own experience.

They some times have certain people in there groups. There is sometimes bad things that happen

“Which is better - to have rules and agree, or to hunt and kill?”

Using this quote, take a stand. Pick a side and explain why your decision is best on this island here at the end of Chapter 11. Don’t forget to use textual evidence to support your answer.

It is better to follow the rules because we want to stay alive and be rescue and be safe. "which is better law and rescue or hunting and breaking things up?" Since they broke up a lot of problems happen Simon died and now piggy died. Having rules and being together is good.
"Kill the beast! Cut his throat! Spill his blood!" (lord of the flies 186).
I want to start off that this book is really good and i enjoy it very much. The reason I choose this because when i think about this book all i think of is sacrifice. The main thing they do is a killing of the pig.A lot of people died in this book for many different reasons but when you think about it why did they died because of some sacrifice they had to do.Simon died because the "Little ones" thought he was the beasts. So they killed him as a sacrifice. "This head is for the beast,It's a gift"(lord of the flies 137). Jack gave the beast the head as a sacrifice for killing the pig. He gave him a part of the pig(head). I think this book is about sacrifice.
