Leave entitlements

Our people are entitled to a range of leave options to cover various types of absence. Paid leave options include four weeks’ annual leave a year, sick leave, carer’s leave, Family and Community Service leave, paid maternity and parental leave, and long service leave.

Special leave may also be paid to cover special circumstances such as jury duty, emergency services volunteering, retirement seminars, graduation ceremonies, bone marrow donations, NAIDOC Week, and participation in the Commonwealth or Olympic games.

Support for family commitments
